IIHF hosts a junior turnemint for young men and teens under the age of 19 from variouse countrys including United States, Canada, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland,etc. Not only is it one of the most scouted turnements for hingher leagues like NHL or the KHL but these young athalets are the best young hockey feenams in their countrys.As Canada entered the first day as alwasy they are ranked one of the top but in quarter finals lost to the hosts, the Finds. Canada was leading finland 2-0 in the first then 3-2 in the second but in the third finland came with sum clutch goals and beat Canada 5-4, ending Canada`s chance at even placing for a medal.
